Reality exists in the human mind, and nowhere else.
– George Orwell
Mind is the seat of reason. It is the mechanism we use to think and is the essence of “rational” processing. It is the mechanism we use to contemplate, reflect and explore ideas of what we might do and how we might be. It is the process we use to give shape to the possibilities generated by our Spirit. Mind is most useful to us when we need to address complex problems and when we are considering options. It is essential for retaining perspective, particularly in emotional situations. It therefore provides the foundation for personal responsibility.
